Oscars Hair Trends (that you can actually use every day) Now that the 2015 award season has officially wrapped,  we turn to the Academy Awards to look towards what hair trends will dominate the year. Appearing on the red carpet were the following hair trends to inspire your everyday style.

Lobs! (or “long bob) Welcome to the year of the lob! The lob is the newest, hottest hair trend in town. Like it’s cousin,  the bob, it can range from one length to angled. With all that extra length, it’s easily worn smooth or wavy. The choicest of celebs like Kristen Bell, Naomi Watts, Nicole Kidman, Kim Kardashian, and Emma Stone were all photographed lovin’ their Lobs!

Deep Side Parts. This trend goes hand-in-hand with lobs and ponytails. But many of the A-list actresses including Julianne Moore,  Marion Cotillard, Faith Hill,  and Laura Dern used the deep side part to make their classic styles look more modern and chic.

Ponytails.  Another style that looks great with a deep side part. Dakota Johnson,  Jennifer Lopez, and Jenna Dewen-Tatum all proved that sleek ponytails can look just as classy and high-end as their classic updo counterparts.

We loved seeing these easy-going,  yet pulled – together trends this year. It’s great to see that less is more, and casual hairstyles can look sexy and effortless.
