I’m Melissa VillaSenor.

I’ve been interested in the beauty industry since I was a little girl. I love my job it’s my creative outlet that has sparked my interest since the beginning.

I mean, I get to make people look more beautiful every day.

I’ve been with Salon Cartier since the beginning 11 years ago. Starting as a receptionist working my way up to an assistant and finally paying my dues to become a “Master Stylist”.

Luckily Salon Cartier choose me. See Robin was my hair stylist while I was in high school and saw the potential and told me I really had a talent for this profession. Long behold she was right and I never looked back.

The biggest benefit to my clients can also be my biggest weakness, I’m a perfectionist, I have a vision and I execute it!!

I’m also BIG on educating my wonderful clients whether its blow drying for those time press people, product knowledge because it works now days (it’s all in the portions) or simply holding your brush in the right position.

Knowledge is power and repetitiveness deliverers.

I specialize in big hair with or without extensions and love a great scissor over comb man’s cut. To be honest I love it all. The flavor of the year has definitely been Buttery Blondes. There are just so many different tones that are undiscovered.

I love long hair… curly, wavy, straight and extensions it’s just so beautiful and I’ll admit I’m envious.
