Although there is no magic pill that will make your hair grow faster here are some tips for growing out your hair and helping your hair stay healthy while growing it out.

Tips for growing out your hair

Monthly trims

Throughout a month we put a lot of stress on our hair. By getting your hair just even barely trimmed you stopping the process of a split end before it has a chance to split all the way up your hair strand.

A lot of the time we all assume by not cutting our hair it will grow faster, when in fact you are actually just giving your hair more time to create split ends which ultimately ends up you have to cut more inches off than if you would have just given up a little of the ends up in the first place.

A Good head massage with a deep conditioner

A massage is going to stimulate your circulation. Which helps brings oxygen and other nutrients to the surface to help promote growth. It also stimulates the oil glands to moisturize naturally.

A deep conditioner about every 2 weeks (depending on the condition of your hair), will help with keeping your hair strong and also strengthen your hair by replenishing moisture and vitamins our hair sometimes lacks.

I highly recommend the Neuma Moisture Intensive Masque. This deep conditioner is going strengthen and smooth while controlling frizz.

TLC

Be kind to your hair! Make sure you’re always using a wide-tooth comb when you get out of the shower.

Don’t use heat tools without applying a heat protectant spray or lotion on your hair first.

Try avoiding synthetic bristle brushes, natural bristles make it easier to not tug on your hair and also help spread natural oils to the rest of your hair which is going to also help promote great shine.

Stay strong – Top tips for growing out your hair

I think one of the hardest things to do is stay strong and not revert to cutting it back again since you feel bored or no style.

You can avoid the temptation by experimenting with your new length try adding some bangs or braiding your hair to the side.

Once you have gotten past the awkward stage it’s a breeze to having long beautiful hair.
