How to Wear a Hair Bun
Wearing your hair in a bun is a perfect look for a wedding, date night, or prom.
Follow these steps to create an elegant classic style.
THINGS YOU’LL NEED:
1. A donut ring hair accessory (foam circle available at drug stores)
2. A few bobby pins that match closely with hair color
3. A couple of hair bands that match closely with hair color
STEPS:
1. Pull your hair into a ponytail using one of the hair bands. Play around with the position of your pony!
2. Next slip the ponytail through the center of the donut ring. Push it all the way to the down so that it is touching your head.
3. Leaning all the way forward, let the ponytail fall between your knees. Wrap the hair of your ponytail around the ring by letting the tail fall from the center out to cover all sides. Using your fingers, help spread the hair around the donut evenly.
4. Hold the hair place with one hand while you slide the other hair band around the bun next to your head. Tighten the band a couple of times to secure. Return to a normal sitting/standing position. Take the strands of hair sticking out beneath the bun and wrap them around the hairband that you just used. Secure with bobby pins.
