Name: Maryah Tapia, Master Designer, Salon Cartier

How long: I have been a stylist at Salon Cartier for eight years. I started as an assistant to the owner when I was 19 years old, and I have been here ever since.

Why I Chose Salon Cartier: I chose to work at Salon Cartier because I was instantly attracted to the atmosphere- warm, friendly, fun, yet still very high-end. I also thrive in the educational atmosphere provided here. Our team is dedicated to learning the newest techniques and then applying them to our vastly differing clients.

Biggest Benefit to My Clients: All my clients benefit from a thorough consultation followed by a customized haircut/color application that is unique to their personality and overall image. I also provide expert knowledge of THE BEST products on the market and educate all my clients on how best to use them at home.

What I Specialize In: My specialty lies in short to medium-length hair. I love to cut amazing bobs as well as highly detailed, customized, short cuts. I love my blondes, and provide the most unique highlights for them, while still maintaining the integrity of their hair. Being brunette myself, I also love to make brunettes feel special with beautiful, rich colors that will last between appointments.

What I Love To Do: I ultimately love to transform hair (or “hair make-overs” as I like to call them). Whether someone isn’t happy with how their hair currently looks or just needs a major change, I love to make people feel great about themselves and their hair. My goal is to change someone’s outlook, by changing their hair.
