Tips to Make Your Fine Hair Healthy Again

Fine Hair Style

Having thin or fine hair doesn’t need to be a challenge! It just needs the right kind of care.

Conditioning

Many people choose not to use a conditioner because they’re afraid they’ll make the hair too fine or limp. But actually, your hair is craving moisture because the conditioner isn’t being used.

Washing

If you’re using a volume shampoo, that’s awesome. In many cases, you’ll have max volume by the fourth shampoo or so. In addition to the shampoo, you need to use a volume conditioner. This helps lock in the strands to keep the volume.

Additionally, the key when washing your hair is to wash your scalp and let the shampoo fall through the ends. Then rinse it off quickly after that.

Then you should condition your midshaft to the ends. If you’ve been through the change, it’s OK to condition your scalp because you’re not producing the same estrogen in your body that’s making your hair oily.

I’m also 100% fan of using a light leave-in conditioner. Simply spray it through your midshaft to the ends. This will give it added protection when using the blow dryer.

Blow Drying

When blow drying your hair, you want to prevent it from getting sticky and dry. Be sure to start in the front and do your bangs first. Then move to your sides from your ear forward. After that, move to the back of your hair.

Many of my clients are shocked when they change their blow drying procedure and are excited how much better their hair lays.
